Terms of Service

These Terms of Service apply to all counselling, psychotherapy, coaching, consultation, assessment, reporting and related services provided by Muslim Psych Therapy.
By booking or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms of Service.

Our Services

Muslim Psych Therapy provides professional counselling, psychotherapy, coaching, consultation, assessments, reports and related mental health and wellbeing services.
Our services are designed to support individuals, couples, families and organisations across a broad range of psychological, emotional, behavioural and personal development concerns. Services may be provided as individual consultations, structured programmes or other specialised services depending on your needs.
The majority of our services are delivered online via Zoom, allowing us to provide support to clients throughout Australia and internationally where appropriate.

Appointments & Bookings

Appointments are available as individual sessions or as part of a structured programme.
The fee for a single session is currently $175 AUD (including GST).
Muslim Psych Therapy also offers structured programmes designed to support clients in working towards specific goals over an agreed period of time. Programme fees, duration and inclusions vary depending on the service being provided and will be discussed prior to commencement.
Appointment times are reserved exclusively for each client. We kindly ask that clients arrive on time to ensure the full session can be provided.

Payment

Payment for individual sessions is due either:
  • prior to the scheduled appointment; or
  • within 24 hours following the session
Fees for structured programmes are payable prior to the commencement of the programme unless an alternative payment arrangement has been approved by Muslim Psych Therapy.
Outstanding accounts may result in future appointments or services being postponed until payment has been received.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that circumstances can change and occasionally appointments may need to be rescheduled.
To allow us the opportunity to offer your appointment time to another client, we require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any cancellation or request to reschedule.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or appointments that are not attended without sufficient notice, will incur the full session fee (100%).
This policy exists because appointment times are reserved exclusively for each client. Late cancellations often prevent us from offering that time to another person seeking support.
Cancellation fees may be waived or reduced in exceptional circumstances or out of grace at the sole discretion of Muslim Psych Therapy. Any waiver or reduction is considered on a case-by-case basis and does not create an ongoing entitlement.

Missed Appointments (No-Shows)

If you do not attend your scheduled appointment and no prior notice has been provided, the full session fee will remain payable.
Repeated missed appointments or ongoing late cancellations may result in future bookings being declined or prepaid appointments being required.
